Forbes, Bill gates remains the richest man, and what of Trump
Forbes just published it annual list of the world's billionnaires. This list features the richest people in the world. So who are the top five in the list?
Bill gates is the richest man for 18 consecutive years in the last 23 years. And he has occupied the first place for the fourth time in the past four years. From $75 billion last year, he's now worth $86 billion.
He's followed by Warren Buffett, with a net worth of $75.6 billion, up from $60.8 billion in 2016. But interesting enough, Jeff Bezos, Amazon's CEO, climbed to the third position in the list. Then comes Amancio Ortega of Zara in the fourth position. Mark Zuckerberg is worth $56 billion and rounds up the number five in the top list.
Let's jump to the next question which is president Trump's current worth. He's worth $3.5 billion according to the Forbs list and he occupies the 544th position. But, according to other sources, as mentioned by the washingtonpost.com, he might be worth more than that.

Here we can see that even Fortune, Bloomberg, and Deutsche Bank have given him a lower estimate.
Another aspect to look at is the women. From 202 in 2016 to 227, and 25% of them are self-made billionaires.
So far in Africa, Aliko Dankote remains the richest with $12.2 Billion, and Isabel dos Santos, from Angola, the richest woman in Africa with $3.1 billion.
